Who We Are
BPI Foundation, Inc. (BPIF) works towards improving the social and economic well-being of the Filipino people through Education, Entrepreneurship, and Environmental Sustainability.  
Established in 1978 as the Bank of the Philippine Islands’ (BPI) social development arm, it builds robust public-private partnerships in implementing is various programs.  
By investing in the Filipino today, we make the best happen for the Philippines tomorrow.


A dynamic social development arm of the Bank of the Philippine Islands, responsive to the relevant needs of its communities and serving as a catalyst in corporate citizenry.


BPI Foundation shall act as the social development arm of the Bank of the Philippine Islands. It will actively pursue relevant programs in education, livelihood, environment, basic and health services and value enhancement and shall be the venue of BPI officers and employees for community outreach and involvement.

Our History

Founded in 1978, the BPI Foundation has a rich history of development efforts in the form of grants, easy access to loans for non-governmental organizations and cooperatives, scholarship programs for underprivileged youth, disaster response, volunteerism, and numerous other projects that highlight BPI’s commitment to building an empowered and socially responsible community.
